Law Abiding Citizen

Pinkatzinha

Ignoring it

Won’t make it go away

Just like

Pretending cancer

Isn’t eating

Away at your bones

Won’t make it stop.

Love is like that.

It’s a cancer

Eating away

At our inhibitions

Our fears

Making room for joy

Sometimes pain

That happens

With the growth that it takes

To be

All consumed.

Love wants to consume

And be consumed

It needs our hate

Our pride

Our ego

To die

It needs us to just let it.

No matter who or what we are

Where we live

What we have

If we just let it

Love will let us

Be

Abundant and blissful

Timeless

Love is timeless.

Just like life

It’s a marathon

Not a 50 yard dash

It’s never too late to start

And you can take forever to finish because

There is no end.

You can’t ignore it away.

Once it’s in you

It’s there.

Ever growing

Consuming

Taking over you

Even if you try to pretend

That it’s not lingering there.

Even if you pretend.

It’s still there.

Don’t try to ignore me away.

Love is me

And I am she.

Like a cancer

Eating away at your bones

I’ll break it all down.

Your pain

Your hurt

Your inhibitions.

I do this

To make room for more.

To make room for the joy

And the blissfulness.

I do this to make you open

To your abundance

So you can know

What true

Happiness looks and feels like

What everlasting

Tastes like.

I am love.

I am everlasting.

You can’t ignore me away.

Even if you try.

I’m still here.

I live inside you.

Guiding you

Never law abiding because

Laws of the heart

Are lies

Of the spirit

And the truth is all I can be

And all we will be.

You can’t ignore me away.

you can try.
